In response to an image floating around…
I’m just making the point that Asian girls don’t look anymore like anime characters than anyone else. If we look exactly like most anime girls, we’d look like freaky as shit aliens with giant eyes and almost no nose or mouth. O.O Just because I have fun running around in costumes doesn’t mean I want to be Asian, or look like anyone else for that matter. I am happy with my Scottish-Puerto-Rican-and-probably-some-other-stuff-large-nosed-long-faced self. :D
BTW No offense to the original cosplayer/model. She is cute, and this is just to make a point. Please excuse my terrible Photoshawp.
Lunch and dessert from today’s lolita meetup!
Lunch at Nobuo @ Teeter House - Tofu salad. It was actually quite filling, and looks small in this picture only because the plate was so huge, I think. :D Marinated tofu was nommy.
Dessert - Brownie Sundae (hold the marshmallows, as yes I dislike them) at The Sugar Bowl which was DELICIOUS! I love legit vanilla ice cream that is all yellow and has dark specks of what I assume to be vanilla bean. =3 That place is so damn PINK I love it.
